INGREDIENTS
- Maida - 3 cups
- Milk - 1 cup
- Vamu - 1 tsp (Ajwain seeds)
- Salt to taste
- Baking Powder or Soda - 1/2 tsp
- Venna
- Oil for frying
- Mix the following like a puri mix/dough: Maida, Vamu, Milk, Baking powder, Salt, Butter (Venna)
- Make into small dough balls (chinna vundalu)
- Take each ball and prepare like a thin roti.
- Cut into vertical and horizontal strips
- Fry in oil
- Remove when golden brown and keep it aside to cool down.
- Optionally sprinkle salt when it is hot
