Mint Julep

leaves from 1 fresh mint sprig
1 tbsp sugar syrup
crushed ice cubes
3 measures of bourbon whiskey
fresh mint sprig to garnish
Put the mint leaves and sugar syrup into a small chilled glass and mash with a teaspoon
Add crushed ice to fill the tumbler, then add the bourbon. Garnish with the mint sprig.
