Mushroom Biryani
2 cup Mushroom
2 Onions
4 Cups Basmati rice
1 Lemon
3/4 Cups Oil
2 tsp Soya sauce
7 Cloves garlic
4 Green chillies
2 tsp Chopped ginger
2 Cinnamons
2 Cardamoms
2 Cloves
2 Tomatoes
1 tsp chilli powder
Salt to taste
Coriander leaves few
2 Onions
4 Cups Basmati rice
1 Lemon
3/4 Cups Oil
2 tsp Soya sauce
7 Cloves garlic
4 Green chillies
2 tsp Chopped ginger
2 Cinnamons
2 Cardamoms
2 Cloves
2 Tomatoes
1 tsp chilli powder
Salt to taste
Coriander leaves few
Method:
1. Soak rice for 1 hour.
2. Trim mushrooms into big pieces.
3. Cut onions, chillies and tomatoes.
4. Grind cardamom, cloves, ginger, cinnamon, garlic into a paste.
5. In a pressure Cooker, heat the oil and ghee, fry ground masala and the onion till it turns golden brown.
6. Then add all other ingredients, mushrooms and stir well.
7. Add 7 cups water and let it boil, add the soaked rice and stir till the rice level and the water level equals, pressure cook in low flame for 15 mins
2. Trim mushrooms into big pieces.
3. Cut onions, chillies and tomatoes.
4. Grind cardamom, cloves, ginger, cinnamon, garlic into a paste.
5. In a pressure Cooker, heat the oil and ghee, fry ground masala and the onion till it turns golden brown.
6. Then add all other ingredients, mushrooms and stir well.
7. Add 7 cups water and let it boil, add the soaked rice and stir till the rice level and the water level equals, pressure cook in low flame for 15 mins
Semiya Biryani
Ingredients Needed:
Vermicili (Semiya) 2 cup
Cubed Vegetables (Carrot, Beans, Peas, Cauliflower, Potato, peas) 2 cups
Onion - Sliced lengthwise 2
Salt to taste
Water 2-3/4 cup
Ghee - 2 tsp
Oil - 5 tsp
Chopped Tomato - 2
Grind into Paste
Ginger Garlic Paste - 2 tsp
Coriander Powder - 1/2 tsp
Green Chillies - 2
Garam Masala - 1 tsp
Grated Coconut - 4 tsps
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Grind all the above items into paste.
Ingredients for Tempering
Bay leaf - 1
Cumin Seeds - 1/4 tspFennel Seeds - 1/4 tsp
Method:
Heat Ghee in a pan and fry semiya till golden brown
Keep it aside and heat Oil and add tempering Ingredients.
Add the chopped onions and fry till golden brown.
Then add the paste, chopped veggies and fry in slow fire for 7 minutes
Add water and chopped tomatoes. Let it boil for 10 mins.
Add Semiya and cook till done.
Serve hot with raita

Mealmaker Biryani
Ingredients:
- Basmathi Rice-1 cup.
- Onion -1
- Tomato -1
- Green chilly -1
- Ginger garlic paste - Tsp.
- Coriander and Mint leaves- for taste.
- Chilly powder -1 tsp.
- Coriander powder-3 tsp.
- Turmeric powder-1/2 tsp.
- Spices- cloves, cinamon, cardmom, bay leaf
- Soya Chunks/Meal maker -10 to 15.(boil this in water for 15 mins and drain it.
- Ghee-2tsp.
- Salt as per taste.
Preparation:
Heat oil in pan add onion fry nicely once its turn brown add green chilly, ginger garlic paste once the raw smell of ginger vanished add the tomates and fry till tomatoes become soft
Add chilly powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, salt and soya chunks .
Stir continuously add mint leaves and coriander leaves.
Heat ghee in cooker add the spices and rice fry nicely on medium flame once you get nice aroma from ghee and rice mixture add the masala prepared above and 2 cups of water close the lid keep for 3 whistels.
Nice yummy Meal maker biriyani is ready.

BRINJAL CURD BATH
Ingredients
- Brinjals - 4
- Curd - 2 cups
- Rice - 1 1/2 cup
- Salt to taste
- Pepper powder 1 tsp
- Green Chillies - 3
- Jeera - 1/2 tsp
- Oil - 4 tsp
- Coriander leaves - 3
- Cashews - 1/4 cup
Preparation:
Cook rice separately and allow it to cool
Cut Brinjals into long thin slices
Put oil in a pan and heat it. Add pepper, avalu, jeera, dry red chillies as thalimpu
Add brinjals and allow it cook in low heat
After curry is done remove
In the rice, add curd, salt to taste and add this brinjal curry.
Garnish with fried cashews
Garnish with some more brinjal curry on the top

OATMEAL PULIHORA
Ingredients
Oatmeal 35 gms (small sachet)
MTR Puliogare mixture – 4 tsp
Water 300 ml (1 ½ cup)
Salt to taste
Cooking oil
Preparation
Soak oatmeal in water and microwave for 3 mins. Add MTR Puliogare powder (heat it in oil) and mix well. Taste it and add salt if required.
Keep aside for few minutes and your Oatmeal Pulihora is ready
CARROT PULIHORA
Similar to mango pulihora or tamarind pulihora this is another nutritious and colourful pulihora that I found interesting and tasty
Ingredients:
Cooked rice : 4 cups
Grated carrot : 1 cup
Grated ginger : 1 tsp
Lemon juice : 1 tbsp or as required
Green chillies : 6 to 7 (slit lengthwise)
thalimpu
Curry leaves
Red chillies : 3
Salt : as required
Oil : 1 tbsp
Preparation:Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a pan on medium flame, add thalimpu and red chillies.
Add grated ginger, curry leaves and the slit green chillies. Fry for a while and stir in grated carrot.. fry for a minute.
Since the carrot is grated, it takes only few minutes.
Take rice in a bowl and add the carrot mixture to this on the stove. Stir thoroughly until rice and the mixture are mixed well. Cook for one or two minutes and switch off the stove. Sprinkle salt and lemon juice and mix thoroughly and Serve

TOMATO PULAO

- Rice - 2 cups - soak it
- Oil - 3 tbsp
- Cloves - 4
- Elaichi Powder
- Dalchini
- Pepper powder - 1 tsp
- Turmeric
- Onions - 2 big ones - sliced vertically
- Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
- Green Chillies - to your convenience
- Tomato paste/gujju- 2 cups
- Salt to taste
PREPARATION
- Add oil in a pan and heat it
- Add all the masala's above and fry it
- Add turmeric, onions, ginger garlic paste, green chillies and fry it
- Add tomato gujju
- Add soaked rice, add water and salt to taste and mix well
- Let the rice complete
- TOMATO PULAO IS READY
